Context

Context

Basequeue is a queue management SaaS platform for service providers like clinics, salons, and banks. Providers create & manage queues, customers book their token, simple in concept, but the original flow wasn't I was brought in to design the product end-to-end. Before opening Figma, I noticed something in the PRD that changed the direction of the entire product

Problem in PRD

Problem in PRD

Based on PRD, the problem was slots inside the queues. Slots made it harder for providers to create queues, customers to book token & added zero value to the pricing model

The Suggestion

The Suggestion

I suggested, What if we removed slots entirely?
1 queue, 1 time range, 1 set of assignees. Duplicate it for speed The client took time, then came the Yes that changed the whole product

Business Impact

Business Impact

The new flow creates an urge for providers to
create more queues = more tokens = more revenue for BaseQueue

Impact & Learnings

Impact & Learnings

I manifested this exact moment while learning UX, suggesting something that helps users & the business at once. Basequeue made it real & the feeling was everything One structural suggestion, 2 apps shipped & pricing model rewritten. The kind of outcome that makes you realise design is never just about the screens
